Well a week ago i posted on how my L.Caeruleus were getting killed off one by one, two days ago i had two left, then later that eveing one, So i put it in the isolation net(like the ones people put guppies in to give birth) and was going to take it back tomorow to trade it in. But i woke up this morning to it dead in the pit of my largest Hongi, it had oviously jumped the net and they probably attacked it. So i'm rulling out that it was my OB as i put it in a hospital/seperation tank while i figured out who it was as i thought it was him(that's why the lab was in the net) and my Pseudo was killed aswell so that wasn't it, so i'm guessing it was my L.Hongi. Why though? I've noticed some behaviour between them when they circle eachother for a minute or so and then another fish breaks them up.

Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated

Hongi vs. Caeruleus aggression is something I did expect back when you started the tank, which I did mention, and with Hongi as the more aggressive of the two it sounds about right. I've heard of some pretty mean Hongi. What type of Pseudo was it?

gah, should've listened

Didn't know what Psuedo it was, no one did, i emailed my LFS that i got it from and they havent replyed and i will drop in tomorow and check it out(it's far away). Even the guys on Cichlid-Forum couldn't figure it out, so i guessed it was a hybrid of some kind. Gone now anyway.

I'll probably get rid of the OB(not sure yet) and focus on keeping the Hongi and growing and breeding them as i have gone too far to stop now.

oh wait? they killed off your little mystery fish? and it was such a pretty little thing! :(

well, here's hoping things get better...

Thanks Pic and GirlinWayside :)
I plan on breeding the hongi, and with the money i make out of the fry(about 10 dollars per fish at around 25 fish =$250) I'll buy a new tank and make it a Caeruleus only tank :)
