Got home today to find my discus pair breeding AGAIN! How cool is that?!
But they have decided to breed at the opposite side of the tank this time, so basically my other 4 discus are hiding! They dont seem to know where is safe to go and where isnt haha.
I am looking forward to getting them into a breeding tank. But i wonder what will happen in my main tank when i remove the male, as he is the big bully who forces the rest into hiding!!

When my breeding tank is ready, i will move them into there. BUT, just now my water is clearly perfect....helped by my substrate, CO2, plants etc etc etc. In my breeding tank the water will have a super high PH as there is nothing in there to lower it. Should i take water out the main tank and put it into the breeding tank to replicate it? It obviously wont be 'clean' as it will have been pooped in. I dont want to do RO water etc as i dont have the time or space.
