ok i have one bloodfin tetra that has always been shy. He always hides in the middle of the hornwart why the others swim around. Resently he just lays on the bottom and breaths heavily. There is no external features that would make me beileve that he has a diease or anything. Any ideas of what is wrong with him?

- sound inflammation
- indigestion
- acid/base poisoning
- diff. parasites, especially parasites which live in gills
- fish tuberculous
- ...

Breathening heavily sounds gills-parasites. It's impossible to say exactly what happened without examinating fish.
