There’s been a murder

I shouldn’t laugh but Yano its kind of funny but a few weeks maybe months I don’t know anymore I bought 6x l144a plecos And another l200 pleco to add to my my 500l in hopes of se breeding activities, elusive as they are after a while I’m thinking where are my plecos , I can only spot my original l200 pleco being a fair bit larger than the others , so today I removed all wood and rocks and as I thought there all gone ... from 8 to 1 ahahah no fish in my tank is capable of eating a 2inches pleco .. well not without noticing or some evidence left ..I have two theories .. the first and least likely isn’t that the larger original pleco didn’t take too well to other plecos and killed them ... all or my other more likely theory is they have been eaten by my turtle ... it looks a little smug like it’s achieved something but had no other fish casualties before this even from introducing fry that were smaller than these plecos , I’m hoping it’s not the turtle as I’m rather fond of it , any thoughts ?

Sus...... Hmmm this is very strange... No evwidence of them at all??? Weeeird... Any crazy dimensional worm holes open up? That might be it

Turtle sorry. Turtles love to chase fish just for fun and eating them is the bonus part of the chase.

This is a super late reply to my own thread but I’m more confused than ever .. after the disappearance of 7 plecos and honestly they completely vanished not even a fin left which was strange beens I had a Colombian tetra die the other day around the same size , a little larger and stockier but found half a body with clear evidence of a turtle mauling , tetra died of other reasons I knew it was dying over the course of a week but definitely turtle food once dead . I decided to test the water no literally but metaphorically and add 3 0.5 -1 inch electric blue acara knowing they were smaller and less wise I was sure they were to go missing … not at all I still have them ,they even share food with the turtle who has been renamed bundy maybe unfairly but still .he’s charming and I don’t fully trust him lol so today thinking I had big brain 200iq said I bet those plecos have gone into my filter and just living there . They wasn’t ahah I’m completely baffled at these missing plecos I still suspect bundy but iv never had missing fish that some evidence of death hasn’t been found
