I come home to watch the giants game and I see the corpse of the smallest neon tetra in my tank and a angry betta or could it have been fellow tetra ? Someone had taken his eye out a few weeks ago now he's dead.

Bettas don't usually play nice with others...............sorry for your loss. Maybe you should separate them?

Oh, and Go Big BLue! I'm a Jets fan but I freakin' hate San Francisco.............with a passion!

Missing eyes, had that when I had bettas in a tank with other fish. They blinded my zebras and some swordtails and probably guppies, I don't remember if those too.

hmmm I have a tetra with an eye missing...been like this for a week and still going, dont have a betta in there yet,

I have kept bettas with lots of other fish and never had any problems. What else is in that tank?

Just some neon tetras and corys
