Theatre Recommendations

I want a weekend in London for my birthday, i plan to see a show amongst other things.
Can anyone reccomend any good ones? I can't choose between Spamalot or Mary Poppins! Oh and i can't get tickets for The Lion King

I would recommend Blood Brothers. Seen it twice and would go every week if I could. Fantastic show.

Hmm.. Toughie. Spamalot or Mary Poppins... I'd probably go for Spamalot. While that's a pretty new storyline, as with most things changed between formats, Mary Poppins will probably lack something since (I assume) you've seen the film. Although Mary Poppins is meant to have some great effects and suchlike.

I've been to Blood Brothers, that was good, Lion King, great. A few of the backstreet Soho theatre productions, like The Knights and The Oddessy, going to see Cabaret in a few months. See what's available with good seats, even if you don't think you'll enjoy it, you probably will.

Actually, dress up and go to the Rocky Horror Show

I think it's gonna be Spamalot... I haven't seen Mary Poppins the film beleive it or not!
