What is the weirdest fish you have owned?

I have to say, my fish are all pretty normal

For me it was a snakehead. this was many years ago and I got it for free with some other fish, as the lfs owner had no idea what it was. It was very tiny when I got it, but as this mystery fish grew the rest of my fish gradually disappeared, until it became big enough to identify. Those things have a huge mouth for their size! I think they're banned in the USA now as they were (secretly or unknowingly) introduced in a few ponds and lakes and totally wiped out the native fish.

my first corys! (first fish) i bought 2 albino corys and they were called tweedle dee and tweedle dum they used to make us laugh so many times as they swam into the sides of the glass all day long!!

My Oscar Odin, likes to play fetch with cat/dog toys. I stand back about 6 feet, wave said toy around until he sees it,
then throw it into the kitchen while he makes a mad dash for it. It's only taken him about a month to learn to stop
before hitting the aquarium glass, silly boy! At first I felt bad because I didn't want him to keep banging his head, but he will not be ignored! You know that feeling you get when you sense someone staring at you? I'll be sitting in the living room, feeling
holes burning through my skull, I turn around and there he is, doing the play with me dance! I can also tell
when he just wants some attention compared to play time
I love my baby

Our betta Steve. He thinks he's a corydoras. But then again most of our fish are weird and all have some kind of indentity crisis.

my betta greets you when you come and if you snap your fingers he follows them
