The Weird Bug Things That Came In My Latest Plants

there were five, two died after being pulled out, i flushed two and thought i would use this one to try and id it. any ideas people? ive googled lots of images (water scorps, damselfly, dragon fly larvaes etc etc but nothing is like this!!!)

It's a damselfly larvae. This article has a good picture of one. Long body, big eyes, and the feathery gills at the end of the abdomen.

There's a lot of variation in them, so it might not look exactly like what you see in a google search. Damselflies are an entire suborder with something like 15-20 families, let alone species.

Actually, if you have a little air pump for that jar, you could prob raise them on tiny insects. Do it! It would make a great project!

Or, you could use them as fish food for larger fish.
