There! ;0)
Ok, I have an empty 10gal sitting on my window sill and I want some fish to put in it! Thing is, the heater has gone bust so I was thinking about a couple a goldies?
Yay  or nay  ? Are there any types that take a while to grow huge? I currently have 1 fantail/oranda goldie but he's in another tank and he's gonna stay there. If I buy some nice-looking golides when they eventually get really big they can go in the pond in the garden!
:D Thanks for any replies!

go buy a feeder. Some look good. I would put one in and only use it as a grow out tank until u put it in yur pond

Nuttygal - I must say - I ADORE your little phrase in your signature - about the rocking chair. Very nice.

Oh, and I'd get a betta boy to put in that tank.
But I'm very biased. I LOVE bettas.

 Thanks Bettamomma!
I did think about getting a betta to put in that tank, because I do love them  but...I don't suppose I can keep a goldie and a betta? :/

No, I dont' think so.
For several reasons. The water quality would be too poor for the betta, and the poor goldie would probably not have any fins left.

I think you could do a group of betta girls in that tank, tho??

Personally I'd only go with one goldy. At first I missed the bit about the pond, and though 'How can they reccomend a goldfish for that?' but now I see the pond, and I'd say 1 goldy for now because of all the waste they produce. But plz plz plz.....

GET A BETTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
