The Uncatchables! I Finally Caught Them!

I have a few mollies and some tetras I want to get out of my tank.
Not sure how I am going to catch them though......

Same way I had to probably.. empty the tank and get someone else to shoo them toward you.

I have recently set the tank up. COmpletely stripping it again is something I am hoping to avoid

lol, its worse when you have a 200 litre tank and a tiny net and long stringy plants like Vallis and you are frantically moving the net in there trying to catch bloody little fish (e.g. Glowlight Danio)

Odd I normally don't have such problems catching fish . I mean some can be difficult, but never tear whole scape down difficult. I always just get them when they are least expecting it. Turning tank light off and leaving the room dark for an hour can make a ton of difference with those super ninja fish like rainbows. You need to work fast and once a fish knows your after it you might as well just wait for the next day. Catch them when they are asleep or are mulling around at the surface expecting you to feed them. If need be use two nets and chase them into one net using the other or use your hand. They are more likely IMO to swim into a net that is not moving then to be caught my the one that is chasing them. When going after sleeping fish go slow, you need to creep up on it.

A 360L tank that you can`t reach the bottom of unless your leaning on your ribs, almost head right in, while holding 2 nets isn`t fun either!

Wouldn't it be easier to just leap into the tank and swim after the fish?
