Well I finally finished setting up the new tank and am now chilling out with a cuppa and watching my fish in their new home. B-)

It`s cost a fortune and I`ve been at it all day, washing sand...loads!, then putting evrything from one tank into the new one, changing all my media from one filter to another and then finally filling it with water from my previous tank and topping it up with fresh.

I feel like I`ve gone 5 rounds with Mike Tyson now after carrying buckets of water and climbing up and down my little step ladder but I`m chuffed to bits with how it`s all turned out. Just a few more plants and a decision on which other fish to add and it`ll all be finished.

My husband thinks I`m crackers and just doesn`t understand my enjoyment of being able to watch my happy fish but who cares......they`re happy and I`m happy :D :D

So let's see! :good:

Thank you :)

I`m quite gobsmacked at how small and lost my fish look now, I think this condition called 'Fish collectivitus' is going to kick in very soon!! :hey:

Yes I`ve had a 180 ltr for almost 18months now and have just upgraded to the 360 ltr in the pic.

Obviously not your first "stroll through the park". Looks like an expert set up job. Nice!

Thanks :)

To be honest, although I`ve kept fish for a while, it`s only since joining this forum that I`ve learnt much more and dared to brave the heavier planting and scaping because I know the advice I get is good advice. My very first attempt on the 180ltr was pretty basic and poor

I love your 180l tank! :D

Ahhh, but the nice planted pic you`ve seen wasn`t the first attempt!!!! A photo of how it looked before: http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/335647-basic-to-flourishing/
......the first attempt was awful!

Congrats on the new tank! You've done a lovely job scaping it :good: try to enjoy it for at least a few days before you start fiddling with it! lol ;)

So did you throw away your 180l?

Thanks coldcazzle..........
....fiddling with the tank? I don`t know what you mean! :hey:

Still have the 180ltr sat in my living room Carl, just need to give it a clean then it`s up for sale. Will put it in the classified section here before eBay. I`d rather offer the chance to people here first.
