The Stalk Came Last Night...

ok now i know many people here have already had numerous fry but me, this is my first batch and im incredibly proud my silver mollie had 12 babies last night (maybe more but i cant tell who was eaten ) however my 12 little fry are swimming around and eating and having all kinds of fun yay hehe

thanks to everyone who has helped me get to this point. i am forever grateful tis one thing dealing with them at work...a totally different thing having them at home

unfortuantely i dont. i tried to get some today but the little buggers are too small and keep moving. when i try and take a pic theyre in screen and by the time i take it they are gone lol i will kepp trying and post a pic as soon as i get a decent one

hehe yeah i am trying just sitting there with my hand in the tank like i used to do to get my mice and rats used to my hand. the ohter fishies are used to my hand being in the tank so i figure the more i keep my hand in the tank now the more used to my hand they will become i dont know if this will work but its my theory

any ideas on this? i think im on the right track but i might be applying rodent logic to fishies in the hope it will work

well ive managed to get a couple of pics. they arent the clearest cause i lose all clarity when i try to zoom in but theyre there and yes that is a wine bottle submerged in the tank. i thought it could be another place for them to hide and they actually use it hehe little drunkards

i got up this morning and there were 15 more fry in the tank (or as close as i can count anyway) and my blue platy is much leaner so i guess she was the next to drop. so all in all there are about 27 in there at the moment

a wine bottle, what a great idea, been sat by mine for an hour with camera looking through a magnifying glass weird as i am but it actully does takes a better pic of anything thats small but cause my tank is so highly planted with grass type things now, i dont think im gunna be lucky in getting a pic but gunna do my upmost to get the blasted pic]
