The New True-Aquatic Plant Look

Yet another juggle round, after introducing the Humpheads on Friday evening...

I don't think the "central reservation" fits any particular aquascape theme, but the bigger fish like being able to "circuits" around the plants or swim through the lower section in the middle of the barrier!

The algae on the left sidewall and the left half of the front is really starting to annoy me, its made that section so "foggy" to see through.

After losing over two hours looking around Aquajardin, mainly looking at the activity of all the algae eaters, I decided to bring home the final two "Giant Otos" (Hypoptopoma "x" at mo) and I'm so glad I did, they are adourable!

I also got two Golden Rabbit Snails who have also settled in nicely (yet to get pics of them, but my better half went on a photo spree while I was at work today).

I belive the red plants are Ludwigia glandulosa and rose pygmy, exchanged at my LFS, after help from the forum identifying many non-true aquatics in my first effort.

You could well be right, so I shall monitor things over the next few days and if need be, buy and use an algae scraper...

Just done a quick test and my fingers cannot get through the layer to expose clean glass, but my nail can!

I purposely held back on the traditional scraper tool as I always hoped to get a fish that at least included algae in their diet. I have a small amount of green hair algae in the Cambomba and I keep thinking "hmm, Butter Goodeids!"
