That's all folks! At least for now and by the way, if you cant see the pictures its cause my bandwidth ran out on the website.

Lovely pics and fish! Those praecox rainbows are lovely - I'm thinking of getting some for my (coming soon) 55g, and I'm definately going to look further into them after seeing your lovelies! Thanks! :)

Very nice Mitch, I had that variety before I had my current boesmanis. Aftera year or so they got realy bright!

Nice pics there, they're lovely fish to watch swim around.

Simon.

They are gorgeous fish aren't they !
How long have you had them though ? I've tried them a number of times and they just seem to "die off" after a few months (6 months or so) no signs of illness or anything. I have some Reds and Boesmani though and they do exceeedingly well and I've had them for years. So I just don't understand :dunno: Have you experienced any unexplained losses with them ?

I've had two of them for about 3 months and 2 of the juveniles for about a month and the boesemani for 2 weeks. The only praecox that died was one that was too aggressive during feeding time and found an opening in the back of the hood.

Well I hope they settle in well and that you have more luck than I did with them !
My lfs had the most stunning one a few weeks ago and I was extremely tempted to buy it, but I just had a feeling it would go the same ways as the others did.
I can tell you though that the get more and more beautiful as they mature !

Nice collection there, this is kinda off topic of the tank, but you said you had 2.5 wpg. Where do you find bulbs above 20 watts that'll fit in a 24 inch thing. Cause I want more wpg but the highest that aguaglows go for 24 inches are 20 :(

I have 3 20watt bulbs. I use my stock light hood plus a twin tube from all-glass.
