The Most I've Had

Hi, just thought I'd share this..

One of the platys in my livebearer tank gave birth to over 90 fry this morning, thats the most I've ever had (usually around 30).

They are all currently in a spare 60litre tank I've got, but will let half of them into my big tank and let nature take it's course.

Just thought I'd share.., Has anyone else had broods of this amount?

i had a molly have 102, only 1 made it to adult, chances are with there being so many they will be smaller than smaller sized broods so not as likely to survive

Yep, they are a lot smaller than usual, little dots really.

Record drops run in the 150 to 200 range but that is very unusual. Even a drop of 90 is quite large for a mature platy.
