me myself has been keeping a log for a while and its turned out to realy helpful, when i had a few problems i showed it to the man at the fish shop (mine has pictures of fish and things i cant put into words) and any good one can give you useful advise that has helped me improve my tank for money reasons and for fish health. well i dont have much more to say but if this has inspired anyone to start a llog then ive done what this post was intended to do.
shang hi

i have 4 tanks now and i keep a notebook for all of them. i can't stress enough how often it helps to know exactly what happened and what i did to fix it

With all my tanks I have to keep a log. I also write notes on tanks with a sharpie.

I was keeping a log for the first 2 months of my cycle but then I ran out of room in the log-sheets that came with my tank and test kit.

I'm going to start one up again when I finally get fish.

I don't really keep a log on mine, just rely on my brain to notice if things are different. Then again, I'm not a breeder, if I were I'd definately keep one. The only thing I really keep track of are when I first observe a female mbuna holding, that way if she dosn't spit before 30 days, I can catch and strip her so she won't get too skinny.
