Hello All:

I have been thinking about ordering some Angel Fish from this Website here. It's hard to find nice Angels in my area.

Before I do tho....anyone have good or bad news to share? Ordering fish online can be risky I think. Any feedback will help much

I know they have nice healthy angels as Ive gotten a couple a few years back. I never did care for their prices or shipping charges. Take a look at Angelsplus or angels northwest. Outside of my own stock this is where I would get mine.

Yup! I agree... I ordered 2 koi and a sunset blushing from Angelsplus and they are fantastic specimens! Angelsplus is very generous organization...in addition, I couldn't have picked out better fish for myself if I was right there with them.

Thanks for the feedback all. I plan on ordering 2 Koi and a sunset blushing too Can I ask what size did you get? The site is telling me dime or quarter sized Angels. I rather have the quarter size if I can.

P.S. Also Cali, is that a picture of your Koi Angels from angelsplus? If so, what a beautufil fish.

Thank you! No, actually that fish in my avatar is no longer with me.

My Angelsplus fish wiggle-giggle too much for me to get a good picture of them. All my pictures of them are blurry!

But, take my word for it, they are fabulous! One Koi has red (and I mean RED) coloring and the other is more orange. And the Sunset Blushing is a beautiful rainbow mix of orange, pinks and reds.

I plan on ordering 2 Koi and a sunset blushing too    Can I ask what size did you get?  The site is telling me dime or quarter sized Angels.  I rather have the quarter size if I can.

Yes, the site does say they could be between dime and quarter size... I was worried about that, too, as I didn't want to get dime sized angelfish. That would have been a problem because they would have been considerably smaller than the angelfish I already have.


My red Koi and my Sunset Blushing are quarter sized (if not a TAD bigger). The other Koi is more quarter sized (a bit smaller than the other two). Also, and the reason I said Angelsplus is a generous organization, I received an additional free dime sized baby Koi! I thought that was very nice of Steve (at Angelsplus).

The only teensie weensie problem I have is that I REALLY don't have room for the extra dime sized baby Koi...so, he's in a 10 gallon by his lonesome.

Honestly, I might have to sell him or give him away, because I don't want to leave him in the 10 gallon forever. ...AND, I have 7 roughly quarter sized angelfish (yes 7) in my 45 gallon tank! Oh, what to do when they start pairing off! I'll have a problem on my hands... A good problem, though, I think.

I just got off the phone with Steve. He told me all the risks and what to do when I get the Angels. Very helpful so far. They will be shipped on Monday. I'll get them on Tuesday and I'll update you then

K! ...I'm excited for you. It feels like I'm getting mine all over again. I did the drip method that Steve suggests and it worked like a charm. I dripped for like 3 or 4 hours and then I added one fish to the 10 gallon and then anther and another...

I was worried at first because once everyone was in the 10, they didn't move AT ALL. They all just hung in suspension for like a day. But, once I put some live brine shrimp in their tank, they started eating and associating me with food!


Then I put the 3 in the 45 with my others and all 7 of them are greedy fools together. The baby (as I said before) is still in the 10. I feel bad...she seems kinda lonely.

Anyway, take care and I'll wait patiently for your update.

Yeah!!!!!! I'm SO excited for you!! I feel like I've got my babies all over again... Were you like me when you got them? (Like a kid on Christmas morning) I had wrapping and tape and newspaper all over the floor. I couldn't stop looking at my babies.
