thanks Jaycat, i have just ordered 15 x micranthemum micranthemoides to go behind the large rocks. My decision on the P.Helferi will be after the other plants i have coming will go with it well.

Thanks, i think it lacks a sense of depth, maybe a plant in the left corner lowering down to the centre would help? Do you think it wou make it better?

i dont know if its too late, but if you could stager the stone layout that would give you a sense of depth. the 3 main ones seem to be on the same plain.just a thought

I actually meant height as you can see, everything is at more or less at one level and it doesn't go higher than half way up the tank, doesnt seem right to me?

EDIT: I might just buy some more java fern to go in that corner, i forgot about that!

vallis nana?...or Cyperus helferi? would give you height, and ultimatley trail the top of your tank. they both look awsome in my big tank.

Looks good so far. I agree, though, needs something in the left corner for height. A small apogeton? I have some A. crispus in my 20g and though I think it would be too big for your tank, a smaller aponogeton might have the right stature and look for your tank.

Either that or a taller stemplant.

Is that sand mixed with pebbles or gravel? Nice effect.

It's been about a month, and this is how it is looking:

all the plants have been trimmed earlier this morning, the riccia is doing great, cut a load off

I changed the WB on this one

I did try a pararama shot but i did it the wrong way round

I will do another sometime or i might just edit this one
