i think my harlequins may have ich/white spot/or fin rot ??
but what treat ment do i use ive heard thinks like salts??
treatments ??
and cutting it out of the fins
the spots are on 2 of the fish and there only 2 spots on 1 and 1 on another but where the spots are ther is bits of the fin missing !
but with corryies egged? im not sure about that
dont know whats going on ??
help!!

buy some white spot treatment that contains either:

formalhyde
malachite green
copper

and dose as stated

I've found protozin by waterlife to be good for whitespot / ich in the past

I feel like I have tried them all from organic to the strong chemicals. I just had some ich it's all gone now. I used Clout That stuff is awesome works fast and will not harm plants. Its cheap too. I treated them 2 time. I did a 65% water change then added the Clout. after 24 hours I notice my fish were much happier and less spots. I did another 65% water change then added one last dose. I now dose with a little Formalin-3 once a day to prevent any stragglers from developing. It's been a week and all is 100% better.
Formalin-3 is not as harsh as most treatments but will take longer to rid the ich its better as a control for any left over parasites.

coppersafe is another good one. I found the malachite Green products to not works as well on some hard to kill Ich. There are different strains of ich and I feel some are less effected by the M Green.

turn the temperature up to 30deg C, increase oxygen by adding an airstone (or another one if you already run one)
