Hi.New to the forum.
I'm going to be setting up my new Rio 180 this week
"High-Lite light unit including tubes 100cm, 2 x 45 watt
Bio Compact filter including pump set 600
Heater 200 Watt"
Heavily planted,non CO2.
I've got some filter media from my existing tank that i plan to use.
However, i've just found out that I'm working away for 5 days, 7 days after the tank is due to be delivered.
I hadn't intended a fishless cycle.
I trust the missus to feed fish, but her interest doesn't extend to chemistry sets and water changes.
Any suggestions (apart from don't start till you get back).The current tank is a 10gal with 1 silver tipped,2 black phantom tetras & 1 yoyo.
Apologises if this scenario is covered elsewhere, but as a new member, I've read so many posts,my head is starting to spin.
