I didn't watch the video, but the answer is you want Cardinal tetra.

I've found neons to be frail and cardinals look better in my opinion.

Neons require impeccably clean water with low nitrates. Not a hardy fish at all but always sold as such

The Cardinal Tetra is usally a little bigger than the neon and has red going all the way across the fish.

Years ago, neons were hardy fish which is why they are still suggested as such. But intensive fish farming has resulted in fish which are a lot less hardy.
