125g tank.............maybe, donno yet but always good to plan.

Alright i want a single fish for this baby and i've narrowed it down.

Fahaka puffer or oscar?

there both so great to me and i just dont know!

Anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong but i think you could house two oscars in that tank so i would go with that myself

You could probably get away with 3 oscars according to some guidelines but i'd go with the fahaka puffer out of your two options but i'd then add a bichir of some kind or a plec.

How come you're only getting one fish for such a huge tank?!
big fish fight. a lot.

I dont quite think that tank is big enough for a fahaka but im not sure about that.

An oscar (or 2 if you want) would work for sure.

But, If you really want to see something cool i would suggest a Green terror, theyre pretty aggressive but very cool to watch. Or if you want to make the tank african you can go with 1 or 2 Frontosa's

big fish fight. a lot.

That's not always ture, bala sharks get 14"+ some times and they don't fight alot. Also the tnak is big enough for the puffer I believe.

Thats true, there are large peaceful cichlids but in many cases the bigger fish are more aggressive

definitely too small for an adult fahaka.

have you considered a Green Terror or related Aequiden? i think they're absolutely lurvely

I guess your going with an oscar. do you know if you want an albino, tiger, or some other form. take a look at a Petenia splendida red form and see what you think. One male could be pretty attractive.
:D
