The Best Flake Food?

My fish love Tetra Pro Vegetable flakes - and I like to think it's good for them :D

It's not as vegetably as it sounds, though. Main ingredients are fish and fish derivatives, cereals, vegetable protein extracts, yeasts, molluscs and crustaceans :S
It does also include Spirulina though. :good:

Someone else on this forum recommended it (but I can't be bothered to search out the link - sorry!)

I use a mixture of the Tetra vegie pro, Tetra colour enhancing and Tetra Pro with energy crisp, litterally. I pour the contents of 3 tubs of flakes into a container and shake it so they all get mixed up and then pour them back into the flake tubs. This way i know that i'm feeding a good well balanced diet on a daily basis.

Nice idea, If not a little expensive. ebay.......

I feed a mix of frozen bloodworm, JMC Catfish Pellets and whichever food I find lying around. Most of my fish are bottom dwellers, even the surface dwellers such as smarags are unlikely take food from the surface...

i use tetra colour, JMC catfish pellets (they LOVE these!!!), bloodworm, peas, cucumber, prawns. tbh. mine hardly get flake.
