The Best Filter For 2500L Tank

Any suggestion what is the best filteration for the 8' X 3' X 4' tank size. & how thick the glasses should be for that size.
 
I'm planning to build big tank in my house..

Is it suitable 5000L/H filter for the tank size 2.5' X 2.5' X 8'? Around 1350L water.
 
I've changed my mind about the tank size that I want to build due to budget. hehehe..
