Texas Cichlid?

Saw a gourgous cichlid last night named the "Texas Cichlid."

Anyone have any info on these guys?

basically your looking at a 10-12+" fish, agressive, and not to be mixed with others lightly.

the picture is of a breeding pair but if you google the scientific name you should get more info.

It just hit me, Texas cichlids....

glad that it did.... that could have been a potentially expensive bag of bricks that you would have gotten hit with had you gotten one and introduced him to your tank(s)
