Texas Cichlid And Pink Convict?

Does pink convicts and texas cichlids ever pair up or whatever you want to call it? I have 2 pink convicts and a texas cichlid. The texas cichlid is always with one of pink convicts and they always chase the other pink convict into a top corner of the tank. Does this mean these two are opposite sexes (or gay) and paired up? These two get along awesome.

Yep, I'm pretty sure a Con x Texas hybrid is possible, so its likely they could have paired off.
