to add to my woes of a couple of my fish swimming vertically, i have noticed ALL my tetras swimming at the surface as though looking for food. they have not long been fed so i feel they are not actually hungry. could this be in any way related to the issues i have spoklen about in another thread???

i have read the stress zyme (or stress coat as it is called here in australia) is good in helping control nitrates. is this true? i have also heard that fresh live plants are also good for reducing either nitrites or nitrates i cant remember. can anyone shed some light on this for me?
also, could higher levels of copper in the water be contributing to the water quality? we have generally high copper in our water but there was talk on the news the other night about increased copper in our water at the moment due to the effects of the drought we are suffering at the moment
