One of my black neon tetras has a couple of small lumps on one side not quite like anything I've seen. I first noticed the one at the base it the tail fin, then saw that there was a smaller one about in the center of the same side, right along the same stripe. Tthey look a little like pimples, and i don't see anything else wrong with the fish. ive had these guys more than a month. i have a male beta who has had cists that come and go without bothering him, but those were not so regular in shape. I'm mostly hoping i don't have some kind of parasite or cmunicable disease.

The pimples are actually about the same color as the sourounding surface of the fish. Maybe whitish if anything, but totally smooth, not fuzzy, and bigger than ick spots, and definiely not that white. if you can imagine a tiny grain of sand burried just under the skin, that's about what it might look like.

Just add abit of salt to the tank if you have no scaless fish in the tank.
