My LFS stocks white spot and fungus treatment, This sound okay to use? Was pretty sure white spot and fungus was far from the same treatment wise.

It should be fine. Fish medicine is not as well researched as in most other animals, but things can work on more than one ailment.

The only problem you might have is if the particular fungus your fish has happens to be resistant to that med. If the fish doesn't improve within a day or two, you might have to try another brand.

Do a big water change and run some carbon for 24 ours between treatments, if you have to do that.

I'll be picking the stuff up today, Unsure of what the brand is. So dose, wait 24 hours then 50%? water change? or bigger. Also it's just one tetra as I can see that has fluff on his fin the rest seem okay but I don't really want it to spread.

Should also note I don't have any carbon for my filter nor do I very doubt my small LFS has carbon that will remotely fit my filter.

SO is this fungus?

He's at the top of the tank now, rapid breathing, not eating and away from the rest of the pack.

That does look like fungus, yes.

No, the water changes and carbon are to remove the first medication, if you have to change to a different one. If you do need to run it, it comes in little pellets, you can fit some in any filter (best tied in some mesh though!).

Well I lost 2 tetras to this. So I only have 8 left, I did a 70% water caused, dosed a good bit of prime and added my first dose of the fungal treatment. Pretty much dyed my water blue, Will I have to do a waterchange after 24 hours and redose the meds?

Just follow what it says on the bottle.

Bottle says to add on days 1,2,3 and 6 says nothing about changing water or heating or anything. But I'll just keep adding it and adding it and then last day do a WC.

was about to add the second dose when I've found a 3rd tetra now swimming belly up with white stuff on him. I kinda feel like am loosing control of the tank. Any ideas?

No one have any ideas what killing my neons? My levels are fine, Finding it kinda annoying there dying off at a rate of one a day.
