Test Kit

Hi guys,

as the topic says what sort of test kit do you think i should get? I will want one thats easy to do and i have seen test strips on the internet that all you need to do is dip them once then they will do the rest, how acurate are these? Or should i stick to the old known method of liquid tests?

I think you'll find that the liquid tests are more accurate, but I regularly use the strips as a quick way to test many parameters in one. If something seems odd or doesn't look right, I then do a liquid test.

agree totally, strips tell you half the story, you need to use liquid as well if the strip shows a problem. mind you if you dont buy strips you get lazy over time with the testing as the liquid is a bit of a pain (takes over 15 seconds, i am a lazy sod)

buy both.
