My tank temperature is 75 but I read that my new gourami's like it around 80, would that be ok for my other fish listed below........thanks.......

Sometimes it takes awhile for one of us to look...
Any way, 78 would be good for all your fish.

78F is on the very high side for Albino (Bronze) Corydoras and most other species from this genus with the odd exception like C. sterbai, generally these catfish are sub-tropical (68-70F) or the odd species (Peppered, 3-lined, Bearded etc.) are even temperate and quite happy at 60F.

Got to disagree, here's the link on planetcatfish showing the temperature range.

The rest of his fish would be much happier in the 76-79 degree range also.

Thanks guys for the answer, I know you must be busy.....sorry.....

That's a nice bit of selective quoting, here is one back... :D

"Generally should be kept at a temperature of around 24°C, water current should not be fierce."

"69.8-80.6°F" is a fair temperature range range, but just like Redline Torpedo Barbs often quoted as being suitable for 15-25C, keeping them permanently above half way in that range does them no favours at all and will shorten their livespan. If these barbs are kept in a typical heaterless tank that changes with the seasons, with a brief hot summer counter balanced by a cool winter period, Torpedos live for ~8 years. However, if you try and keep these temperate fish in a tropical setup all year round they do very well to reach a mere 4 years.

It is all about metabolic rate of the fish or any animal, this is why a hamster with a very high rate lives typically for 2.5 years, while a Galapagos Tortoise with a low metabolic rate can live well beyond 100 years.

No fish listed in brain1's sig needs anything like 78F, they will be just as happy and have a lower rather than raised metabolic rate by setting the temp at 23/24C or 73-75F.
