I know this is a nooby question and its posted in one of the stickys but:

I read on the sticky post the temp for tropi fish is around 21-27 however at my LFS (Pets at Home, I dont trust them as it is but still curious) there tanks are all sitting at 30 and they say that it should be around 28-32. Now I am just wondering what is the right recommendation, right now I am listening to this site and have the temp at between 24 and 25.

I currently have 10 Neon Tetras and 1 Angel fish (will be getting more soon).

Thanks for your help.

There is no "right" temp.... consistancy is the key, mine run around 75 F sometimes a little higher for breeding, as long as theres not a big difference between the two, and you allow for SLOW adjustment in temp you will be fine.

certain fish have different requirements, however i have found that 26-28 is a good compromise with a community. as stated above, slow and gradual adjustments are key.
