Temperature Of Water For Cichlids

Have read through the setting up aquarium but I can't find the correct temperature.
 
And just tested my ph and it's 8 which appears to be optimum for Malawi's. :0

Now once my new filter is set up I will start my fishless cycling which I'm not looking forward too as it looks pretty technical :(
 
I've always kept my tanks @ 78-80 and havent had any outbreaks of ICH in more then 5 years. The more aggressive mbuna IMHO should be kept in cooler conditions to keep the fighting down.

I'm with mamafish on this one, farenheit is the way forward, none of this modern rubbish. :p
