Hi

How long does it take for the temperature reach around 24 degrees on a juwel 125?

We set this up on Saturday and still only showing as 20.5 degrees? Not sure why

It will more than likely be an inaccuracy on your heater, turn the heater up to 28 and it should bring the tank to 24oC

yeah flow and location of thermometer all effect its read out, I have to turn my heater up about 2 degrees past the mark on the heater to actually get my water temp up to where i want it.

Don't know about your particular heater but you're aware many of them have to be calibrated? You have an external thermometer and note the tank temperature with it, then you turn the knob until the heater light just comes on or off and check to see whether the setpoint knob then needs to be adjusted so that a number representing the temp you have on your thermometer is now aligned with the setpoint arrow next to the knob. New heaters should have instructions for this if the heater works this way.
