Temperate Nano Tank

I have 25L of nano tank in need of fish. Temp. 21*C, roommate 1 big, friendly loach. Any ideas?

American Flags, White cloud mountain minnows, perhaps even a paradise fish.

It's a famed Chinese Algae Eater, now at 6cm. I've had it for months with my platies and it's never touched them - they actually bully the loach, especially when there's an algae wafer. Vicious little girls I'm surprised at all the bad press they get - they don't like other CAEs (my two chase each other) but they don't bother other fish, even in a small tank

LFS has flags and minnows, and so far the flags look like the best option. Anyone kept them?

American flags get too big for a 25L topping out at just over 2" they really should be in 40-60L

WCMM should be ok but are very active.

Indeed, they grow much larger, up to about 10cm in captivity, 16cm in the wild for some odd reason.

Look at some of the micro-rasbora species, and perhaps cories?

Lamp-eye tetras? Not kept these in a nano before but they are pretty tiny.
