Temp Differance

Iv got a fluval e heater which is set at 29c and showing 29c but my lcd (aquarium line) display is showing 31c and its in the same place as the heater

Toget a temperature reading accurately, put the thermometer at the opposite end of the tank as this will show you the water temperrature overall

The the all new fluavl e which should be bang on like it says is wrong

could the lcd display be wrong?

Otherside of tank is displaying 31.1c

its not one of them stick on jobbies is it ? on the outside of the tank ? i got a digital one for 4 quid , sensor in the tank display is 3 foot away

and its VERY accurate

no it an aquraline lcd temp thermometer that goes in the inside

just done a test iv got a clock with a temp read-out and says 22.6c iv put the fish tank one next to it and that says 22.6c-22.8c

so the new fluval e series is well out

ill sort my sig out, though id made it to the size in the rules 100X120 (i think it said)

its gone up abit more now the lcd display to 23c
im goin to leave it 15 mins before finaql check

JUst checked now clock temp 22.6c and the fish lcd 1 is 24c but keeps on goin up and down?
