Ive just noticed in another thread that someone was told to make sure they buy calibration fluid with their TDS meter. do you need this for digital ones as there was no mention of calibration fluid on the website that I purchased mine from.

I know the TDS meter that came with my new RO unit from The Filter Guys came calibrated according to the manufacturer.
Whether it was done correctly or not i'm not sure as I haven't set it up yet.

All digital testing equipment needs to be calibrated every so often to ensure your getting accurate results.
I know a few people who have had the same TDS meter for three years and have never re-calibrated it.
I wouldn't think that you need to calibrate it when you buy it, maybe once a year just to be safe. :good:

This is just my opinion and haven't researched the topic so you could google it and see what comes up.
