Hi all, just a quick question, i keep Guppies, and have just been out to get some tapwater safe, the shop sold me one for goldfish, i have already opened it :( i presume its ok for my guppies? as its only to make the water safe? thanks in Advance, Adrian

Is it just called tap safe, with a pic of a goldfish on the box?

if so it'll be fine, i used to use it cos it was cheap, when i had my 30 ltr, the only thing is you do need alot.

thats the one lol, i thought i should check, thanks for that, i wil use a little more than normal then, and then get some for tropical fish, its not my usual shop but i went there instead of risking taking the Yamaha on the road in this weather lol, thats a lovely photo of a guppie you have there

Try to buy a better one as that entire bottle (100ml) only does about 57L.
Bioactive Tapsafe is great as an entire bottle (125ml) does 1250L

Most people used the pond version, which is a higher concentration and therefore lasts much longer

Haha- you try to find it down here!

My current favourite is Seachem prime though.
50ml does 500 gallons!
1ml = 40L!

I used to use Pond Fresh Start which worked out pretty much the same as regular tapsafe, but Prime should be an awful lot cheaper in the long run.
