I have a much lazier method - just use a big net baited with a little bloodworm - greedy buggers can't stay away and have to go get it!

I agree mamafish, the less stress the better. With the box trap, they willingly go into the trap, happily eat away at the bait then you take out the box with the fish in it. Saves trying to chase them around the tank with a net. As I have stated before the trap does not trap all the fish but it makes it very easy and painless to catch a good few.

Very true - was thinking about last time I did it - different tank!

Same applies with the Malawis though - just use veggie pellets (soak em first like!)
