Tankmates For Salifin Mollies?

Hello

Im new to the tropical world, I use to have coldwater biorb (30L) but Ive now converted it to tropical
I had just 2 zebra danios in it until sat when my friend bought me 2 lovely Golden Balloon sailfin mollies took forever to work out what they were from photos on the web!)
I thin kits one male one female as the fins are different lengths.

Now Im wondering what I can house with them?
Ive always wanted a Betta, thats why I convered to tropical, but will they mix well with the mollies?
Please give me an indication of what fish & importantly how many I can have in my Biorb tank.

your 30L tank converts to around 8 inches of fish with

Ideally Male bettas are best suited on their own, they can be quite feisty and can bully other fish. Also due to their long finage they are also likely to have their fins nipped by other fish.

I would say that your danios would definitely nip the bettas fins, and depending on the temperament of the betta, he may or may not be compatible with the mollys. In fact a Female betta may work better,

my suggested stocking would be

3 balloon mollys (1M 2F)
1 Female betta
1 Apple Snail
