Tank Weight

Sorry to bring this old subject up again but I have just set up my 90ltr tank in my 2nd floor flat and am worried about the weight. I've got it by the side of the fireplace and made sure it's level. Have tanks ever collapsed a ceiling? cos I worry evertime I walk past it that its going to break and send all that water pouring through the ceiling or the whole lot just disappear into the downstairs flat!!

hi m8, a litre of water weighs 1 kilo, sooooo..... 90kg!
but will vary a little depending on how much substrate etc you have.

should be ok, I had a 100 litre and a 30 litre upstairs and they were both ok
