Maybe the choice of sand or gravel , rocks ect has effected the old tank ?

Sgooosh, please tell us a little more about your setup. What kind of filter are you using? Do you have gravel or sand, and what kind? Plants? How long was your old tank set up? Do you have a plan for cycling the new tank?
