i currently run a 120l tank but i am soon going to upgrade to a 240l silly question i know but my 120 l is basicly fully stocked with the 240l could i basicly have the same over again or does it not work like that???

basially it depends on the fish and aggro etc,,,,whats the new tanks dimentions and then also what you have and people can tell you where to go :good:

current tank ( inches) 36l 12 w 18 h stock 3xpearl gourami 1m 2f 1 rtbs 7 white tipped rosy tetras 8 neons and 2 cory julii ....cruddy fake plants stone age under gravel filter with powerhead. ( my 1st ever tank)

new tan will be 48l 16w 19.5h planted propperly using aqua soil and co2 system mangrove root and either air stone or bubble disc tetratec ex 1200 cannister filter . ideally would like to start again ie keep existing tank as is and stock this as new, unlikely to be possible tho due to space

if not i will be transfiring existing stock then would like to add a couple of blue rams about 8 amano shrimp ( have read that these are relatively gentle on the bio load?) ....

would that leave room for anything else?? is so any suggestions please as i intend to put lots of effort in setting up a lush natural tank and would like the fish to reflect this.
many thanks

would really like a couiple of silver dollars but heard they are bad for eating plants??
