55 gallon - Painstakingly added giant hairgrass to the rear of this full tank ysterday. Had increased flow with a Korilia Pump. Have ordered and received an automated co2 system and refillable cylinder that I am trying to get filled...places are few and far between where I live right now. Will send pics as soon as the tank is finally complete. It is going to look amazing. I just have to figure out how to set up the co2, as I have never done it before and it did not come with directions. Any advice on settings, etc.?
92 gallon corner - Half full, cycled with goldfish and red mangroves. Transferring the goldfish to a small pond today. It will be a discus tank. I am going to start stocking with clown loaches and bushynose plecos. I have to wait for the mangroves to grow out. Substrate is purely play sand, so I will just use low light, undemanding plants until I upgrade the lighting (have 60 watts only now - 30 of the watts are T8, 30 are standard flourescent). Thinking of going with an Fluval Fx5 and a 78 watt T5 light, eventually. Is there any substrate I could add on top of the play sand that would blend colorwise and make it a more effective plant media? Originally, this was going to be a brackish tank, so I just added all play sand. Feedback apprciated as always.
