Fish Fanatic
Hey guys. I just thought i'd post the details of my 12 week old aquarium
My tank is a Juwel Rekord 800 (25 gallon)
My water stats are as follows
Amm = 0
NitrItes= 0
NitrAtes = 22
GH 6
PH 7.4
Temp 27 celsius
I perform weekly 15% water changes
My tank inhabitants are as follows
12 x Neon tetra
3 x clown loach (I know how big they grow and will rehome when needed)
2 x Bolivian Ram 1 x male and female (pair)
3 x Silver shark (Again will rehome when needed)
1 x dwarf plec
1 x Small frog (forgotten the name but wont grow very big)
I x Betta fish
Tank is planted
Amazing big circular piece of bogwood (tannons have turned the water a brilliant amazonion tea colour)
Gravel substrate
5 x flat pebbles
1 x Cave
1 x shipwreck with airstone
Quite a few good hiding spots
Im happy to report that ALL fish seem very happy and leave each other well alone
I was concerned about tetra and betta but both species have never bothered each other
Clown loaches seem to love spending alot of time with the 2 bolivian rams
Silver sharks also stay together and seem very content
I plan to remove my dwarf plec soon as im aware of the waste they produce
Can anyone spot any problems with this setup?
(please dont mention about the loaches and silver sharks growing too big because i have access to a friends 100 gallon tank for when that moment arrives)
Also any tips or general advice is as always very welcome....
ty in advance
oh..and i feed them flake, pellets, frozen brineshrimp/bloodworm and algae pellets
