So, I did not do anythign to the tank but add a few new fish which unfortunatly gave that tank a spike (6 black skirt tetras did not make a dent in the bioload at all but 4 cories made a .25ppm dent) anyway, last it was clear as a bell and this morning it was a brown/rusty color.. what is it?!!

weird,

Have you added any new plants or ornaments to the tank?
nope.. jsut fish.. an the co2 generator did NOT add any yeast.. how odd.. my poor fish (black skirt tetras cories really don;t seem to care at all) seemed stressed but the .25 ppm of ammonia and such..

I hope it is gone when i get back form school.

Added any new bog wood lately, and if you use black carbon how long has it been in.

carbon huh? it has been a while..

oh.. the rusty color is suddenly gone. should i remove the carbon?

Yes you should change it every six weeks or the chemicals will leech out of the black carbon into the tank.
