Tank Temp

Hi all

I have my heater set to 24c and the tank normally sits at 25c which is perfect.

However, recently with the warm weather the tank temp has risen to 29c and I’ve noticed that the heater comes on occasionally in short bursts (now and again – not very often). Is this normal or could my heater be faulty?

Could the lights also contribute to the tank temp?

Light and room temp Will be raising the temp no doubt, set the heater to 22c and keep an eye on 29c is too warm for most fish

Ok, thanks for that - I will give that a go and fingers crossed it will drop again.
