Right all you clever people, What gadgets out there exist that - electronically, can tell me as much detail about my tank as possible?
What I've got currently is a webcam pointed at my tanks and hosted in real time on my website. So when Im out at work or in the crew room I can check on my fish and remind myself how nice it all looks etc. (and depending on how good your eyesite is you can sometimes read the temp off the guage!)
Are there, currently, any bits of kit out there that Electronically display any info other than the tank temp? Oxygen content or Chem values or anything? Ideally I would like to link them up to my PC and be able to view those values on my site.

Obviously this is of great personal benefit so I can see my fish all the time im near a PC etc but It has a great benefit to the tank too. If the information is able to be displayed on the PC then it is no great strain to come up with something that can record the information so I can see, for example, how a slight diet change can effect the tank environment, or similarly the introduction of a new fish into the tank. And this will help me to understand better how my tank works and what is best for it.

So anyone out there know of any electronic display gadgets?

Thanks for your time.

Yes there are but it comes with a very high price tag. they only thing i can think of that will tell u everything about the water on a chemical level is a mass-spetrometer (sorry if i don't spell it right) and they are big things and cost a fortune. so i don't thinkg its worth it.

u can always go and get some anylisers that plug into ur pc but they cost a lot as well.

LadyMinion,

What a star you are! those are exactly what I was looking for! When I get the kit set up I'll be sure to post a link here so anyone who is interested can see how its been done (Thats assuming I don't mess it up and it all breaks!)
