Tank Stocking Question

hi,

i'm setting up a 20 G tank. the cycle is almost completed and so i'm starting to consider what kind of fish to put in it. this is what i have come up with so far as possibilities:

Clown pleco (1)
neon/glowlight/lemon tetras (probably 3-4 of each of 2 of the 3 species)
zebra/leopard danios (3-4 of each)
platies (maybe 2 females)
neritina snails (2-3 if and only if, down the road, i develop an algae problem)

i've tried to mix in some fish of different sizes and some fish that prefer the bottom, middle, or top of the tank. i do NOT plan on getting all of these... i'm just narrowing down my choices and would like to know if there are any on my list that are not considered suitable tankmates or any obvious mistakes that i have made.

also, i am open to suggestions of any other interesting fish i should consider.

The plec, tetras and platies sound great.

I have a clown plec myself, and I love him alot.

I'd go for the clown plec, 6 of one of your two tetra species (they do better in bigger groups) and the two female platies.
