Hey,

I have succesfully worked out that my tank is:

15US Gallons

How many fish do you reccomend this tank should hold?

Thanks :p

depends i surpose, i always do the inch per gallon rule which means your tank could hold 15 inches of fish, but remember fish grow, just because a fish is 1 inch doesnt mean it cant grow to say 5 inches, but there is limits to this rule,as you can not put a 5 inch clown loach in a 15 gal. hope this helps.

Thanks, its already stocked has been for about 8 months now.

I have a fair few fish though so I think its overcrowded? They seem to be coping though?

:S

Here we go...

Fish:
1 x Siamese Fighting Fish
5 x Golden Panchax Killifish
2 x Zebra Ottos
7 x Rummy Nose Tetras
14 x Cardinal Tetras
1 x Silver Tip Tetra
1 x Red Eyed Tetra

Tank:
15 Gallon
PH 6
81f / 27c

They are all happy!

You're really pushing the limits there. To answer your original question: "How many fish do you reccomend this tank should hold?." About half of what you have in there now.

At first i would lose the lonely tetras(silver tip & red eye) from your tank. Do you know somebody you could donate those guys?Or perhaps you should try the lfs.

:-(

They are from the first setup I had!

I am not going to get any more stock at all though and have had 2 deaths in last 8 mnths so should be ok, as you say I am pushing it a tad though.
